Newest version of BIOS?

How do i know if I have the newest BIOS avaliable? I don't want to flash them unless I have to. I have the Abit AN7.

Abit has a program called "Flash Menu" you can get it from there site and it will check if there is a newer bios out and flash it for ya, all in windows.

I don't really want to flash them to make sure I have the latest BIOS. Isn't there a code somewhere or something I could identify wether I have the latest version or not.

If it's like its big brother the nf7, the bios version will flash on screen at bootup. Lower right side IIRC. Be prepared to read quick!
