I was reading another thread about how installing newer 4-in-1 drivers slowed down HD performance. So, after doing a clean install and optimizing it every way I know possible so far. Then, I did a test at PCPitStop to compare a previous test when I did install the v4.35 4-in-1 drivers in WinXP and my configuration now. I'm not going to show the exact numbers (too much typing), but I will say this: the newer drivers slowed me down a little. So, I'd just like to confirm the advice that the included 4-in-1 drivers (which is v4.33) runs perfectly fine. After you install Windows XP, there isn't a need to update those. So, everything is peachy keen for me.
