newer, higher quality tbirds

if i buy a 1ghz tbird right now, what are the chances it will be newer (possibly a better overclocker) and from the dresden plant? would it be better to wait a week or two?

I gig BIRDS come in both Austin and Dresden flavors. You have to step up to 1.1 gig BIRDS to be sure of Dresden. As far as overclocking, your at the high end of the line here, and 10% OC is about all you can expect without voltage mods and extreme cooloing.

Don't know about later necessarily being better. I had some week 48 1GHz. Many of those did 1300+. The week 51's I got did not have many go over 1200. They were all Blue.
