Newegg's latest and greatest

It's overpriced and you can get much more bang for the buck by going with other part choices, Newegg is wasting a ton of money on all the parts, any X99 motherboard can overclock decently you don't need a $400 one, the ram is 4x4gb, 8gb sticks are a much better idea. the 1.05k processor is not a good buy when you can get a 6 core for half the price or less, so unless you really really need 8 cores it's not worthwhile and finally the Gtx 980 is a terrible buy, it's the flagship NVidia card and they always rape you on price, pretty much any other card is better price performance.

edit: Note if you have money to burn those are not bad part choices as they are all quality parts, but unless you don't mind wasteing money there are better options.

it's a waste of money if you don't buy a decent heatsink and overclock and then find a way to use all that CPU power (8 cores, really?).

How about you spend half the money and upgrade more often?
That's the way to get the latest, new USB specs, new directx, new this new that, lower noise, adaptive sync, all that jazz that changes every year.

I don't understand big spending on stuff that quickly becomes obsolete and then keeping it for years.
Also feature-packed motherboards are a waste of money, unless you need them or do overclocking as a hobby (and not just setting a daily clock and leaving it at that), just get the cheapest from a decent brand with the chipset you want to buy.

Looks like they got the most expensive part in each category.

If it costs more, it must be better. Right?
