I'm not sure if this is the right forum, but its the closest thing I could find. Apologies in advance if its the wrong place.

Has anyone ever tried to call Newegg's support number? I don't know if I'm the only with this problem. The first time I called, they transferred me (I haven't even pressed any numbers yet), said it was a bad extension and then hung up. The second time, I've been on hold 95 minutes (still am as I type) and counting. I've heard every bad top 40's song from the last 10 years.

Is it always this hard to get a hold of anyone there?

It was only a couple minutes the only time I called them :(

EDIT: Is this anything we might be able to help you with btw?

Thanks for the offer, but its strictly rebate related. So, I really just need someone to pick up over there. My phone has a timer. 1hr, 46 minutes and counting! I'm tempted to hang up and call again, to see if I'm stuck in some bad internal loop. But, if thats not the case, my call will be even longer :(

hang up, call them back and mention this when you get someone. i'm sure they will make it up to you.

hang up, call them back and mention this when you get someone. i'm sure they will make it up to you.

Thats my problem. Getting someone, anyone. Its 5 minutes until a 2 hour hold now. If I run the risk of calling back, I have no clue how much longer the hold could be.

i only had to call them once also and it was very quick. i'd hang up and call again, somethings wrong or you pissed 'em off :p

I still think you should call back.

If they put you on hold for more than a few minutes, then just hang up again and call back later.

Finally got someone. I found another phone (I wasn't going to wait on my cell phone to rack up a huge bill) to use in another jack. Had two phones going. Got someone in about 10 minutes on the other call. I guess I just got really bad luck the first 2 attempts.

Heh, I was planning to, but my call was originally about a mail-in-rebate issue with OCZ (purchased the PSU through Newegg). They just offered to give me the rebates themselves (I really didn't expect this), so now that I don't have to deal with OCZ anymore, I guess I'll call it even.
