Looks nice to me. This card is ~7600GT performance for a little less, and is known to OC pretty well. Just know you are going to need a decent PSU to stand up to this guy if you want to get some higher clock speeds out of it.

FYI...Great price for this card but as of this moment, the MIR from Sapphire is an issue for me. I'm still trying to collect a $15 MIR from Sapphire from last March.

I just got a response back from Sapphire yesterday but it took a couple of e-mails before they responded with an "we'll look into it". Newegg was not helpful at all.

Also, I haven't heard of any other peeps getting their $15 back from Sapphire either.

Good to know. I guess $140 is a decent price, and if the rebate comes, so much the better.

Just another way of looking at it. I have little faith in rebates 🙂

If you're going to spend $140 for it just wait for another one of those deals on the x850XT platinum edition like microcenter had a while back. They had it for $150.
$140 isn't anything special on this card unless you absolutely must have it this instant.

:Q

Do you really think it is worth waiting/paying that extra money for the same card clocked fractionaly higher?

Not to mention that you could easily do it yourself at no extra charge. Look inot RivaTuner.

Just pointing out that there are some serious deals on the PCIe side that will be a long time in coming on the AGP side. 😛

This is espcially true on used parts. Used PCIe x800 Pros are only worth about as much as an AGP 9800 Pro, which is cool if you are into used parts.

This would be more tempting to AGP users if we couldn't get an X800XL for $119 or a X850pro for $140 that unlocks to XT speeds. Good none the less.

IIRC that was with a pretty hefty rebate.
