Newegg too good. Same with ZoomZipFly. Too bad both in California and I'm subject to pay taxes.

I don't care if the Retail CPU box was open as long as the tray with the cpu and hsf hasn't been opened. I would have torn the box open anways. Even if the tray was open, I would have still gave it a try.

mind you, I'm not saying newegg opened the box..hell, you never know these days....it could've been opened during transit. However, newegg should always insure their shipments and NOT have their customers deal with all the BS.

I didn't buy from dell because I can build my own comps..why pay them extra? That's why the company does it so that IT people wouldn't have to deal with all this BS. For home comps....I wouldn't use the company account anyways or use any fringe benefits from the millions of dollars we give Dell....it's two different situations. Also, I don't accept any gifts from any vendors....not even those nice chocolates or huge baskets of cookies and candy they ship out to all their customers during holidays. I tell all my vendors to skip all that and roll those gifts into giving the company better deals on equipment. It's the professional thing to do.
