Newegg will not load

Anyone think of reason why Newegg will load but all the websites I visit do open.

I have emptied my cookies and deleted my offlins files.

How long has this been a problem?

start > run > cmd > ping www.newegg.com

If it fails you most likely have a DNS problem that needs to be resolved.

you don't have peer guardian, firewall, ect running that might be blocking it?

No I can go there and view 3 or 4 pages then they will not load. I get a "Server cannot be found". I clear out my cookies and it works but only for 3 or 4 pages views.

might be an issue w/DNS aggregation for your ISP

Who is your ISP and how long has this been going on? You have another machine you can test it from?

These two things will tell you if its your router and/or ISP.

1. Try using your laptop elsewhere. If it works, then its your ISP/Router. If it doesn't work, then its a software issue on your laptop/desktop.

2. Do you know anyone else on Charter? are they having the same problem? If yes, its your ISP for sure at this point. If not, its something on your router (for sure if you tried the first step) or similar software on both machines.

unplug the power cord from the back of your router. Wait 30 seconds and plug back in. Some websites stop working for me from time to time. This always seeems to work. Don't know why. I'd be interested if anyone could tell me why this works.

I have done the router thing and the webpages do the same on my back up dial account. Now here is something I found that when I log out of my Newegg account everything loads great. Any ideas?

Does it happen on both browsers? look at the bottom next to the clock, run your mouse over them and tell me what programs are running.
