NewEgg vs. eWiz

Last night, I ordered a new computer. I would have ordered the whole thing from NewEgg, but they sold out of two parts I needed, so I went to eWiz...

I placed both orders last night at about 5pm, CST. New credit card info (not a new card.) I paid for Rush on both.

Status? eWiz shipped last night, and I'll have my stuff tommorrow.
NewEgg, well, they're still on "Step 1".

Disappointing, to say the least. This has to be the slowest NewEgg experience I have ever had. We'll see how eWiz does on packaging compared to NewEgg.

Way to get your panties in a wad. I'm just sharing my experience with computer parts companies on a computer board. I buy tons of stuff from NewEgg myself, and will continue to do so.

And if this is the most irrelevant thread you read on ATOT, you're not looking hard enough.

I'm having a strangely wonderful experience with NewEgg now. I order all my stuff with UPS ground, and get it here the next day at 6pm.
That's strange, right?!!!

You're probably right. I'd find far more irrelevant threads if I went and searched by user name for EatSpam.

You yourself might want to use the search feature to see how many threads there are on either company. This is more blog material than anything.

Additionally, you aren't sharing an experience. You're trying to say one company is bad or another one is better. You are disappointed that a company 10x larger than the other company did not ship the night of an order? Furthermore, you never even mention the timezone difference between the company, but I guess you expect an order placed at 6PM EST time should move to the front of the line above ALL other orders filled earlier in the day and be sent out same day!

No, there can't be any bias. I can't see any motive in this thread.

FYI: I purchase from ZZF. I don't use Newegg because they have a warehouse in TN and they charge me tax.

You forgot to compare price, stock, breadth and depth of product lines, service, RMS policies, etc. You should have used at least 4 different companies, ordered the same parts from each at the same time, purposely made a mistake in your CC number and/or address, waited until you received the parts, inspected the packaging, then called with an easy-to-solve question to test thier support.

I short, this is not an online retailer comparision. This is a blog entry in which you intended to expose NewEgg "fanbois". And it needs more !!!!!11's and LOLs, n00b.
