Like many of you, I got this Xtasy GTS-V for a great deal.
However, I am the one who hate to load coolbit, or powerstrip on back ground just to clock it to my desire speed.

Anyhow, I have been search and test bunch of BIOS, and I found Gaiward's BIOS to be the best.
Then I proceed to edit the BIOS to Sideband enable, GPU 200 and Memory at 320.
(I am not a extreme OCer, but this setting to be the most stable and effective for my Xtasy)

Give it a try, you will like it!!!! And no more coolbits or powerstrip!!

(btw, try it at your own risk, I am not responsible for any inexperience user's BIOS flash problem ;) )

Coolbits is just a registry entry and does not "run in the background". I would recommend it over hacking/flashing the bios.

I use coolbits too. All it does is activate the hardware panel hidden in the drivers. BTW, how do you like that GTS-V? I was thinking about getting one.

Yes, I used to use coolbits. Absolutely Nothing wrong w/ it, just annoying when you happen to reboot your pc.

Anyhow, my point is to get the best driver of your device. ( in this case, Video BIOS)

Besides, you can also change the bootup videoscreen, to "Have little fun with Xtasy GTS-V" :)
(not that exactly I need to restart my pc).
