Wow! The P4C800 is in stock right now... went up to $279.99! It was like $40 cheaper just a couple of hours ago... though not in stock. That is just rediculous. I used to think they did not play that game but....

I could have sworn it's been that price since at least this morning, perhaps even before.

Yup, they jerked the price up on everyone. I wonder if they will do that with the DFI 875p board.

Just wait a few days...Newegg did the same exact thing with the A7N8X-DLX when it first came out...it was $200. Once everyone else received stock, it dropped to the standard ~$150-ish pricepoint. Newegg's been known to do this with hot items that just hit the market b/c they know everyone looks for them to have it in stock first (which they usually do). They're rarely the market leader anymore when it comes to pricing, the good thing is they adjust their prices quickly based on competitors offerings (I always check googlegear nowadays for the lowest price; used to be Mwave but they seem way behind the times nowadays).

GameVE.com has the board I want (MSI 875P Neo-LSR) for about $175 dollars shipped. That's still about $25-30 more than my cut off point. I'm holding out for the P4 2.8C's to come out. It's highly doubtful that I'll see that much of a price drop, but I'll keep my fingers crossed.

They also have the fully decked out Neo-Fis2LR for about $200 dollars shipped.
