NewEgg Sucks

Seriously. i bought This surround Sound Speakers from them for $90 and i get them and they break after a month and they wouldnt replace them or give me my money back. And i bought a HD from Them And i got it and it didnt work and i had to RMA it which took 2 weeks of my life and i had to pay for shipping.


So in conclusion they suck.

Did you remember to turn the knob on your speakers to turn them on, and to connect the IDE/SATA cable into the hard drive AND into the motherboard in the corresponding connector?

Well if you blew the speakers, they are under no obligation to replace them. Also how long is the warranty on the speakers? If it is only 30days, then once again they have no obligation to replace them. Some more details are in order.

If you don't like waiting for an RMA, shop at a retail store and pay the extra money. Also, most online businesses make you pay for the RMA, even if its DOA. I don't agree with this business practice, but it is true in at a majority of the stores you shop online at.

I give this rant a 1.5/10

yea seriously. it is a Store on the internet. Like if they made a Porn site with pc parts i bet u all would have a membership. seriously i have bought 2 things from them ever and both have broke and they screwed me out of like 100 bucks

Your warranty isn't through NewEgg, it's through the manufacturer. Take it up with them.

You're lucky NewEgg let you RMA them at all.

You explain absolutely nothing about the situation and come on here bitching and moaning. Unlike some other people who actually post in detail the measures they took to request the RMA and their problems, you dont post any pertinent information. We cannot sympathize with you if its an idiotic rant at best.

Also, that was a horrible attempt at an insult.

Allrite dude this is what hapened. i bought the speakers on sale. They worked fine for like a month. then they just randomly stopped working. i called up Newegg and they said they wouldnt refund my money or Give me a new one because they dont carry them anymore.

What brand of speakers were they? Some more details so we can help you out. You could try calling the manufacturer, or giving Newegg another call and try to explain to them again with a new CSR.

I've got a 6-digit history with them, and have returned items on maybe 10 occasions. (I have, however, returned more than 100 items to the MANUFACTURER because they're fvcktards and sold me stuff that died after a year, or in many cases, less)

I have much bigger problems with crappy manufacturers than I have with crappy vendors. Newegg is my best Vendor, actually. ZZF uses UPS, and UPS likes to smash my things. TO DATE, i've attempted to recieve a poster from AMD *MORE THAN* 20 times. UPS hasn't gotten it to me intact yet, and COMAC (AMD's outsourcing hut for reseller materials) is too lazy to use another shipper already.

So wait... you buy a product from Newegg... something they didn't manufacture... and ithe items, which they didn't make break, through no fault of NewEgg's... and they tell you (after doing their job which consists of nothing more than selling the item and shipping it to you) that it is out of their hands and (probably) told you to contact the manufacturer... and that makes them assholes?

Huh. Sounds like LOGIC to me.

You are a moron. The lesson you should learn from this is that some manufacturers make bad quality items, and you should take it up with them, not the middle man. The middleman shouldn't HAVE to deal with things like this, but oftentimes they do and take some loss on things to see that YOU are satisfied.
