See ShellShocker link on front page of https://www.newegg.com/ .

These use the SM2246XT, DRAM-less controller, and Sandisk's new 15nm NAND. (I assume MLC? Not certain.)

These are OEM, not retail, so may not have mfg warranty (much like Samsung's SM951 M.2 OEM SSD drive.)

They are intended to be low-cost, and also low-power. (Active power something like 30 or 50 mW.) Probably best for laptops.
Edit: Even though Newegg has the power-consumption listed as 30mW active, Sandisk's own datasheet lists 30mW "average", and 1.6W "active". So these are pretty-much as power-efficient as many other modern SSDs.

Fastest (256GB) model has 330MB/sec seq. write speeds. So not super-speedy on the writes.

72TBW on 128 and 256GB models. So decent endurance.

Thanks OP, perfect for replacing the drives at my wife's small biz, they have about 10 PCs.

Here's the SanDisk product page: http://www.sandisk.com/products/ssd/sata/z400s/

The warranty on the Newegg product page says 3 years, but I don't think that would apply as this is not a retail product. The Z series is not listed on their commercial warranty product page, so my best guess would be it falls under this category and has a 1 year warranty:

Any Other Non-Customized Commercially Available SanDisk SSD

One (1) year
