Just thought this was interesting...

Newegg.com sets up product dev...headquarters in Taiwan

Newegg.com was established in 2001 and had revenues of US$526 million in 2003, making it the sixth-largest online computer and electronics vendor in the US, ranking behind Dell, Best Buy, Circuit City, eMachines, and Buy.com, Hsieh said, quoting a US-based Hitwise report.

Newegg.com expects its revenues to hit US$1 billion this year and increase to US$2 billion in 2005, and the company plans to list its shares on the NASDAQ stock exchange next year, Hsieh said.

Maybe because they sell lots of stuff other than computers and electronics? It still is surprising.

Same.
Great price, great shipping.

They have been mine, but that is changing. Their CS is not what it used to be, and not so sure about their prices, especially now that they have rebate deals. I feel like I helped make them what they are and they turned their back on me.

thosee are huge sales increases, i wonder where they expect them to come from...it doesn't seem that easy to double sales two years in a row, but if they do some decent advertising and people realize their prices are better than those other retailers then maybe. seriously considering buying some of that or some amd

I don't like the shipping price games where it is claimed to be "free" yet the product price is higher, nor the lack of proper combined shipping like a bad e-bay seller. But they have been reliable so it all comes down to comparison shopping (post shipping) with other good retailers.
