Newegg shipping question

I am in the middle of making my wish list for a new comptuer. I have found that newegg will be where I get most or all of my parts. In doing so will I pay the combined shipping cost of all the parts or will the total shipping cost be lower because I purchased several items?

I wanted to call them directly and ask but they have closed for the day.

I ordered most of my computer parts on newegg, usually they arrive a day early. And especially their RMA service is wonderful to be honest . Once I ordered UT2004 from them on sunday and arrived on a monday ! FO SHIZZLE YO

No discounts on shipping 😕

If you buy 6 syringes of Arctic Silver 5 at $4 shipping each and a case that costs $16 to ship, your shipping bill will be $40.

It sucks, it doesn't make sense, I hate it too. :|

The problem is the fact that newegg has multiple warehouses across the nation. I know they have one in CA and one in NJ, possibly more, I'm not sure. Anyway, some parts will be shipped from CA and some will be shipped from NJ, thus producing different shipping rates. I'm not sure if they average out shipping rates across the whole site to help balance out possible multiple item orders, but I'm pretty sure they don't actively calculate shipping rates based on which items were shipped from CA and which were shipped from NJ. You just gotta take the rate they give you and stack them all up. It sucks, I know.

I know... i hated it too. But i had to hear it from the masses if my thoughts where correct.
But in defense. I was hoping to be wrong and nothing disparaging about newegg would ever mentioned...ever.
Dang that bites.

It stacks.
Buy your stuff at zzf. They have 2day Fedex Saver and most items are free to ship.
I saved 60 some-odd bucks at zzf on my last order over newegg.

It doesn't hurt to shop around. I'd consider you to be a poor consumer if you only bought from one source all the time, no matter what. Taking your business elsewhere is the only thing that will get them to change. Of course, with all the fanboyz around here, it might take longer than it should.
