Newegg shipping credit

Does anyone know if Newegg offers a shipping credit for returning defective items?

On their website, it says they don't. However, I have seen posts on this board, where people say that they have gotten a credit before...

Do they offer a shipping credit, and if so, how do you "apply" for it?

Call in to service, explain situation.
They can offer a 'Purchase Credit' up to $ 10 for a future buy of parts.

I got one for a mother board replacement, used it a copuple weeks later towards a case.
