Newegg shipping cost weirdness

I was going to Newegg to get myself a Shuttle AK35GTR board; $115 plus $6 to ship. Sounds fine. Then I added a single tube of ASIII. The shipping went to $12. Uh, what?

They've got fixed shipping on some items (or did the last time I checked). You might be able to call em and finagle a shipping credit, but it's one way they keep item costs down.
