So the other day on Friday I ordered a HD and DVD Burner from NEWEGG and everything went through i thought but i never got email confimation nor did i get a tracking number and the order didnt show up in order history and still doesnt. (Free 3 day shipping)

I waited a few days and on Wed, I recieved nothing so i ordered the same stuff again and bam reiceved everything Today on Thursday. I recieved 2 boxes though. In both boxes were the same exact items.

Basically I know have two of each. WTF!!!!!!! Did i get charged twice? Will I. I used my moms CC and the 2nd order shows up in thier system but not the first. Whats going on.

No. They sent you the second order for free:roll:

Faith No More rocks!

If you ordered it twice most likely you will get charged twice. Check the credit card statement.
Also, why would you reorder everything without contacting newegg first? Silly kids.

Here's what I'm guessing happened...

1. You added everything to your cart.
2. You went to process the order.
3. It didn't finalize, and your cart didn't empty.
4. You went back a few days later to retry. You added the things to the cart again.
5. Your cart then had 2 of each item, because your account still remembered the items from the previous attempt.
6. You processed the order and it went through.
7. You got two of everything.

Call them and explain your situation and tell them you need to RMA the extras. They'll probably charge a restocking fee.

I hadn't realised that this was the official Newegg support helpdesk.

Damn it kid, go and ring Newegg. How the bloody hell would we know what's happened?

How do you have two invoices if only one order appears under your account?

Anyway, whatever happened, your solution would be to explain the situation to NewEgg and request an RMA for each item.

Depending on how well you describe the situation, how nice you are, and how nice the support rep you get is, they may waive the restocking fee. But you'll likely have to eat the shipping price to ship them back, however they've been known to credit people for shipping prices (not sure if they still do that).

But first I'd suggest having your mom look at her credit card statement to see how many times it was charged. If it was only charged once, you have the choice of being a good guy and telling NewEgg or being a profitable guy and selling the extra stuff.

Wait until you find out if it was charged to your mom's card. Don't open up the second set until you find out. If it wasn't keep it. Sell it on the FS/FT forums. Of course everyone else is going to tell you to send it back.

I'm a horrible person, btw.
