Newegg sales receipt dated when order placed or shipped?

Looking to buy something with a rebate that expires today. Does the receipt show the date of the order or the date it is shipped?

Wrong forum but I will tell you that the receipt will show the date that it was ordered as long as the credit card is charged.

Newegg will send you an email letting you know the CC was successfully charged.
