No, I don't work for them in case anybody thinks that. I ordered after work on wednesday and will have it friday. This is the fastest I ever got something delivered except for the times when I had something sent overnight or 2 day.

LOL

Uh, we already know they're good. Of course, you should thank the shipping carrier, not NewEgg, for getting the package to you. NewEgg does a good job at sending things out on time, but it's not them who actually makes the delivery :)

Unfortunately, NewEgg has become somewhat overpriced lately.. Used to be $10 cheaper on motherboards and CPUs than MWave.com, but now -- more expensive!

For company ratings, check out www.ResellerRatings.com. I don't like buying motherboard combos from mWave, they sometimes mess things up and send the wrong motherboard, or a defective one. But they're great for individual parts.

I like mwave.com. I have oredered 80% of my stuff over the past 3years from them and never got anything screwed up. I ordered some stuff from newegg.com because they had some case mod stuff mwave didn't, but other than that I usually stick to mwave.com. Thier website is a lot easier to navigate through also. Not so damn cluttered and alike parts are listed in order on product pages, etc.

I've heard good things about mwave. Also, if you live in the area (I do), you can always pick parts up at their place.

I've used both Mwave and Newegg a lot, and I would say that they are both great! Especially when we live in Spokane and there is no reasonable local computer outlet nearby!!

A significant problem with Mwave is that they don't package well for shipping. Motherboards come with no padding. Hard drives packed in a box too big with little to no padding so they are rattling around. They have a great selection, decent prices, and excellent rma department, but you have to hope the item gets to you safely or you are tacking on an extra $10-15 to send it back to them.

The best shipping is from Outpost. $9 for overnight, and overnight means anything ordered before midnight is to you the next day. There is no 24-48 hous processing time before it ships. If you aren't getting that level of service, then the company doesn't rock.

I remember when there was free overnight shipping. That just blew my mind. I needed some speakers, ordered the BA4800s, and the next day I have them :p

Dell does offer some great shipping deals. However, the last time I tried updating the free shipping to second day they still sent the shipment regular shippng. It was still free though

Dell even has problems with their "overnight" shipping. They also tack on the processing time that can add a day or two. I know because I ordered something overnight and it didn't clear processing until a day and a half later.

What? They didnt send it to the other side of the country first? LOL :) I got a processor in today that was shipped from Oregon.. the shipped it to Memphis, then back to Oklahoma. Still got here on time, so no complaints, just seems a waste of movement sometimes.

MY WHY I LOVE NEWEGG STORY

Been using them for the past 2-3 years and was building a system for a friend at the same time upgrading my 3 computers at home.

ordered cdrw,dvd,modem cdrs,radeon 9000,harddrive wd 8gb.

I ordered 2 different times but they came at the same time 3-5 days later. placed everything away and reviewed what arrived 2 days later, I could have sworn the hard drive was not there called csr transfered to a supervisor said he will check on it (heard liar on the background though) 10 min later found the harddrive (my bad) called them back told them I found it.
Next morning found a e-mail notification cancellation order for another hardrive, they where actually going to give me another hardrive.

good prices good csr,fast shipping

love them

I just had my first "newegg experience" last week. I ordered a 128mb stick of RAM and a low-profile PCI GF2 MX 64mb for my mom's new Gateway. It was the only place I could find a video card that would work with the system (it's a micro-tower, so few cards would fit). It arrived 3 days, like promised, and I've been running it without any problems.

Got my extremely well packaged HD today. Got one of the new Maxtor fluid bearing drives. Haven't tried it yet since it is going in my P4 system.
