Newegg RMA Question

MDE

Lifer
I RMAd a refurbished CPU (XP 2200+) to Newegg, and picked a "repair" RMA. Will they send me a new one or just refund the money? I got an email saying they're sending a new one, but when I look at the RMA status on their website, it says that the money is being refunded. Any ideas?

I think they're sending you 6 tickets to POTC.

At least that's what my psychic newegg mindreading powers tell me

Why not ask them?

I wouldn't expect them to be open at 11 PM (Central) on a Thursday night.

the way they process it is they "sell" you another processor, then refund you the cost of it so you get it for free. screwy, but it works.

you're getting another cpu.

Even though the original was a refurb?
BTW, thanks for the straight answer.
