Newegg RMA QUESTION!

I bought a DOA Processor from neweggs refurcished section. I'm shipping it back immediatly for a replacement. Is it possible for me to bring the package to the post office and tell the post office to bill the shipping charges to newegg?

Something like how Amazon handles returns, slap the return sticker on the package and drop it off at the post office.

IIRC, you are supposed to pay for shipping costs back. Don't be a cheap ass, it's only like 2-3 bucks. You can't bring it back because you opened it, and that won't fly at the USPS.

its 3 bucks, 4.50 or so if you go priority with DC like you ought to

thats what you pay to chance it on a refurb, but you can be sure they'll send you another pretty fast

whenever possible, i try to open up items by lifting the tape so that i can close it back up without problems & return to sender. lifting the stamped postage & re-applying it to your return works if it's done neat enough. i'm not paying $15 to rma a dead $20 power supply.

more buisnesses should follow the amazon/barnes&noble tradition with those return stickers.

u are responsible for shipping charges

When I got a dead dvd drive from the last year they told me to pay for shipping back to them and then fax them the reciept. I did and they credited my credit card for those shipping costs. Maybe this is a year old but they used to pay for it.
