ive got a mobo im trying to rma to newegg. my ? is, do i have to send all the manuals, driver cds, etc. back? i bought the same exact board as a refurb to replace it, that came just the bare board, and i would like to keep the manual and such from the original retail. will they still accept it. anyone just sent back the bare part, and not all the retail packaging, and still recieved the replacement?

thanks in advance.

Why don't you copy the manual and then send the original back? Or send the manual back and just go to the manufacturer's website and download the manual. Why do you need to keep the manual. This is the day of the internet. Use it.

Just send back what was originally sent. Why would you do otherwise? Trying to keep something for free you shouldn't have? Even if the replacement is the same thing, imo, what you got originally should all go back.

Besides, is there a mobo made where the manual isn't online in PDF format somewhere and more likely more up-to-date than a printed version?

im not trying to get anything for free here. what im saying is, i bought a retail box, then it died. i bought a refurbished to replace it. im now going to rma this board, and from what i understand, i will be recieving a repaired/refurbished part in return, without the manuals and such. i personally like to keep all docs and such when i buy a retail part. if i knew for certain that it would be replaced with a retail, then there would be no question on sending them back. i only ask if they will take the bare board on an rma, since that is what i will receive in return.
