Has anyone had to RMA a Raptor drive to Newegg? The two drives I got will not spin up. I took all the normal precautions(ie anti static wrist strap, careful handling, only using one of the power connectors on the drive).

Will they tell me to contact WD or have me RMA since they seem to be DOA?

Uh. They don't spin up? BOTH of them? WTF? Try the other power connector.

And if it's within their return period, just fill out the form, tell them that they don't work and wait for the RMA number.

I tried both the legacy and the SATA power connectors and nothing.

That's... Not good. Sounds like WD sent out a bad batch.
