Newegg RMA issues

Hiyas all
little bit of a rant here

Not sure where else to post and maybe someone can offer a suggestion as to what to do next

Sent in 2 items for RMA 1 month ago as I got a motherboard from them that fired my memory 🙁

Bought motherboard a few days before I sent tham in and got memory in 2/06 both from Newegg

Motherboard RMA was processed and refunded in 3 days after they got it

Memory RMA still doesn't show online

Finally get a supervisor on the phone as I kept getting told that the RMA dept. would email me

This is when I find out that Newegg is claiming its not the same item I bought from them in 2/06 WTF!!!!

I have the original invoice and the serial # matches that invoice to the packaging of the memory

I think maybe part of it is not wanting to eat the cost as the memory was purchased when it was quite cheap (130) and now its much higher (210).

Any ideas?
The supervisor was no help at all and other than contacting the BBB I'm not sure what else to do

Options:

- PM NeweggSupport.

- Talk to another supervisor maybe?

If by chance you get no support, can you RMA the memory directly through the manufacturer?

I should be able to go through the company if needed as they have lifetime warantee (G Skill)

Did it through Newegg as I got it there

I think what makes me just as mad is that they waited a month to tell me this and I still don't have the memory back 🙁

Waiting for the memory now

They said they would overnight it to me

Now hoping more than anything I get back what I sent them

There is a much better way to handle this.

Post a horrible review on resellerratings.com. They will get right back to you and do anything your heart desires to beg you to get rid of the bad review.
