I RMA'd a video card. Instead of sending me a new one, they refunded my credit card. :(

I'd much rather have a video card than the $$, hence the reason I bought the dam thing in the first place.

Sigh.

They did that to me too.

Except they did it like 16 months after I bought the card...
...and they refunded the full price...
...so I could upgrade to a Radeon 9700 for $10 more...
...it was awesome.

I actually like Newegg's policy: If they can't replace it with on-hand stock, they don't try to hold on to your money. They give it back to you. Then you can reorder from them (just set up a in-stock notification email--they usually have the stuff within a week or two), or from a different place.

Actually, a $15 crap card for a friend's machine. ;)
A $15 crap card? Yeesh, just go to the next swap meet man, it's not like there aren't a slew of used ViRGE-class cards out there.:p

make .50 profit off of him by replacing it with this
Hot damn, I've got to get me one of those!:p If I remember correctly, that's a Savage3D/4 core built on a newer process to cut down on the heat, with 8MB of DRAM built right in to the chip(hence "integrated"). It's a card that's worthy to join my ViRGE in my collection of utterly worthless hardware.:p
