newegg RMA Geforce4 ti4200

I tryed it in 3 different motherboards all it does is give me corrupt post text and a black screen when it should be loading the OS

what a dud
I payed 215 bucks for This card 4th from the bottom

ohhh and they tape the heatsinks on the mem

they glue an aluminum plate on the back

I shoulda got the albatron hehe

I guess i'll just get it replaced

I could get a refund since the Geforce FX is soo close and I would only have to pay a 35 dollar restocking fee
geez I might as well return this 2400+ since I got my 1700+ at 2.3ghz

I need a new motherboard and memory

what do you guys think ??

btw I know how to rma it i'm just asking opinions and maybe warning people about this card

if you got the money... go the re-stocking route and get the newer card..

this reallty sucks
I mean I want to play games now and my voodoo5 just isn't cutting it and hasn't been cutting it for over a year now
maybe I should just rma the 2400+ and the GF4 and get a cheap Geforce2 or something and pocket the rest of the money till next month

btw I only wanna spend about 200 bucks on an nvidia card
so that pretty much puts the FX outta my range for a few months (longer than I want to wait)

I have chose nvidia because their linux drivers are the best

so my KT266A isn't so outdated after all

Won't be playing games anyways till I get my GF4 RMA back
