Newegg returns

I received a heatsinkfan from newegg today with serious internal box damage and a totally destroyed fan. The entire unit was wrapped in a plastic bag. The external shipping box was undamaged.

Does anyone know what newegg does in situations like this? Will I have to return this unit at cost to myself?

Damn it.. 🙁
 
Sounds like the shipper may have destroyed it and repackaged it. I doubt Newegg would ship something like that. Before you get upset, give them a call tomorrow, calmly explain the situation - they will make it right.
