I'm trying to RMA repair something to newegg.com. Does anyone know how you can get them to cross ship? I read the FAQ and they said they can as long as you're willing to pay for the item in advance then they'll refund you when they get the stuff. But they don't say how to choose this option. I don't want to just order a new one and then have them charge me for it unless I'm sure they know I only want to exchange it. Thanks in advance!

Ok, thanks!

But I was hoping to hear from someone that has had experience with this. If no one has, that's fine too, but I'd just like to hear about how that experience went if someone has.

As I understand it, Newegg does not crosship. Your only option is to buy the same item and then send back the old item. They will charge you 15% for the return and you pay return shipping. All of this also has to happen within 30 days of the original sale. It would probably be worth a call to customer service. Maybe they would wave the restocking fee if you make prior arrangments.
Good luck.

That's the problem with what I want to RMA, it's an item that can ONLY be exchanged for the same type. So even if I wanted to I can't just order a new one and return it my old product. If I order a new one I have to keep it!
