Newegg Refurb'd Radeon 8500s

Did anyone who actually bought the refurbished Radeon 8500s from Newegg? If so, did you do it while it was in stock, or could you place an order and wait till one became available? Are the refurb'd cards reliable?

BTW, how does the LE 230MHz 8500 compare to a Ti200?

supposedly, they are returns. thats just a rumor i read on these very forums (one of them). i tried to get in on it, but always too slow. u can't reserve them...u just got to be there at the right time. u can however request they send u an email when they get them in stock. they still go fast tho.
