Besides for everything being bigger and slower than it should be, I don't notice much different about the website. Although I have really stopped using Newegg as much as I used, because their customer service is terrible and I
hate their marketplace implementation. The marketplace has filled their website with a ton of low quality product listings that you can't trust, just like Amazon.
I pretty much wrote Newegg off after they start bundling "free" crap software with hardware purchases, and then charging you for it if you returned the hardware, with no way to not accept the free software. This is a clear ploy to prevent you from returning anything. My brother also had to file a complaint with his CC company to get Newegg to honor a return.

Is it just me, or is it really annoying when companies do this? If they actually cared about customer service, they'd take care of it before you posted a complaint somewhere. I see posts like this as just an attempt at damage control and maybe an attempt to discredit the original poster.
