It's both silly and rude for 1,000 users to each run a program to ask 1,000 price questions to online vendors (1,000,000 price requests) instead of using a server-based website like AnandTech that asks once and stores the answer (1,000 price requests).

If it's just for newegg, what's the point? Does it try to price-match against their prices?

I will sell you the program for $90. Too bad you don't have it yet or you could search for a lower price.

The program is called firefox... and like already mentioned you go to pricegrabber.com, froogle, pricewatch.com, labs.anandtech.com, or whatever. Why do you refuse to use your browser?
