Might be worth it since Amazon now charges sales tax and is raising the price of Prime. Electronics is typically the only thing that I want 2-3days and Newegg is typically the same price.

Yep, Newegg has a unique attractiveness to people who pay Amazon taxes and aren't in the very few states in which Newegg does the same.

Amazon's return _policy_ alone is easily worth the added cost. I go online, request an RMA, no human has to approve it, and I'm printing a shipping label five minutes later and shipping it off the same day. And I've never had anyone refuse or question an RMA once they receive the returned product.
