I made an mistake on my order. I though the following order is 2 stick of 512MB stick
CORSAIR MEMORY XMS Extreme Memory Speed Series, Low Latency (Twin Pack) 512MB(2 x 256MB) 2x(32MX64) PC-3200LL With Heat Spreaders.
will they accept to return it with another product???

Can I exchange my RMA item for a different item?
No. We do not exchange RMA items for different items. We replace an item only with the exact same item type. If the warranty period for a refund has not been exceeded, an RMA request for refund can be placed online and then the new item can be purchased (also online) and the RMA item will be refunded when received. View this as an exchange.


You're going to have to RMA it... but i wouldn't worry other than the turnaround time. These guys are awesome... i had to return a memory because my motherboards capacitors blew and i didn't have any use for DDR... the return period for memory was over but they still give me full refund... didn't even charge me a restocking fee. :D

If it hasn't been packaged in the warehouse, call and cancel asap. Once the order has been shipped there's nothing you can do on their end. You can only refuse the package from FedEX (which they recommend) and then telling them that. If you received product already, call them and tell them you made a mistake. They'll issue you an RMA (usually with no restocking, depending on the item), but you pay return shipping no matter what. You can cross-ship, but all you're really doing is placing a second order (they charge you) while waiting for the refund on the product you're shipping back. Their RMA process is fast though, usually about 5 business days from when you send it (I send USPS, 2 days usually) to them and you get your refund.

Thanks everybody. They let me return it with restocking fee waive when I place an order for 512mb memory. :) Now, I will get a total of 3 t-shirt :) . How much does it cost to mail memory??? Hope it's cheaper than a t-shirt.

Impeccable service. I completed an order and decided to change it the next morning. It was too late to change, but they cancelled it and all I had to do was place a new order online. No penalties, and Paul, the rep on the phone, was more than nice about it. I'm sure there are other good companies out there, but I'm sticking to newegg.
