The rotating ad banner at the top of the page under the header, it has a "Clearance Sale, Up to 60% Off!" banner. I was perusing it again, and right now, at this very moment, ALL of the items on that sale, seem to have FULL "EggPoints". Which are basically pennies on the dollar rewards points system. They are also only good for a limited time, lest you think that you can stock-pile them.
Once I earned some eggpoints, and there was an option the next time I checked out, to "apply" the eggpoints to my purchase. Saved me some small money.
I'm not saying that you should fall for Newegg's Points' scheme, because it always used to seem like few and far between as far as earnings for Points go, but if they're going to do "even" Points for dollars spent, on most/all items, that's at least some incentive now. I don't know why they didn't do it sooner.
