Really? What kind of ram? What motherboard. What pci/agp devices. I would disable whatever you can except for your hdd and video and then see what you can do. What are your temps like?

the temps are fine, and believe me, the other components are not the limiting factor. the chip simply sucks.

If I may ask, how do you know the other peripherals aren't the limiting factor? My c1 is stable only at 146fsb and below (2.65ghz)...but I havent touched the voltages (what should I modify? - RAM, CPU?)
BTW, Im running a 512MB Kingston DDR 3000 Hyperthread.

Thanks for your input

In my experience over the last 2+ years and 1-1/2 years with p4 northwoods and numerous chips no chip runs at default vcore PERFECTLY STABLE and then hits a wall like that that no amount of vcore can raise it even a few mhz and be the cpu....It has always been some other limiting factor and trust me mobos are usually the culprit and it is truly hard to sometimes figure that out.....

How have you tested all the other components to insure none of them are the limiting factor, or did you plop the cpu in a mobo known to run higher fsb and still have same issue???
