I really know it's not a big deal, but I'm not used to orders taking so long for New Egg to ship. I ordered yesterday at 8 AM EST and my order status is still CHARGED (not shipped). Orders placed before noon usually ship the same day for me, and I usually receive my item the next day. The shipping center is in PA.
I know they have up to 48 hours, but... Anyone else noticing slower than average fulfillment?
Ha! I'm not crazy:

Update: Newegg kept me waiting for 2 days for a tracking number. More digging showed that the item was de-activated (sandisk fuze 8gb). They never told me that, I had to look up the item number. I asked for store credit so that I could just order a refurb of the player (which is in stock) - they refused and said that I would have to wait for a refund to be issued back to my card. I didn't want this because I don't want 2 charges on my card (nor do I want to wait) - I asked for either the refurb or a store credit/gift card. They simply refused and, well, lost a customer.
Update #2 The reason I didn't want a refund was because I didn't want to have to keep track of Neweggs refund procedure, since they routinely "forget" to reverse charges. I called Newegg last week about an old charge for $29.99 for a canceled order, and was told (again) that the refund would be applied within 3-4 business days. They claimed that they tried to reverse the funds multiple times and that the bank somehow rejected the claim.
I saw, today, that the $29.99 was still on my card so I called chase - they were awesome and conference called newegg in on the call. Newegg said, yes, the order never shipped and that they attempted to issue a credit on the 24th. My bank said "then why isn't it showing up? Our records do not indicate any attempt made." Newegg's rep got defensive then said, again "you'll see the credit in 3 to 4 days."
Chase recorded the conversation and gave me the credit right away, but it all sounds a little fishy.
This last order, the one that the OP is about- it's still listed as CHARGED, even though the order was supposed to have been canceled. I'll have to deal with that next week.. Argh
