Ive ordered from newegg a million times, but ive had the occational mess up with shipping (i.e. dosent ship for a week)

Should i try TCWO?

The price difference shipped is $0.53 cheaper for TCWO.

Their also only about an hour away, so shipping ground would get it here by tomm.

can you pick it up? If not, i'll still say Newegg.

"occational" out of "a million times" is pretty good if you ask me. 😉

I could, but i dont have the time to drive there.

TCWO is a great vendor. Not only are their prices good, but you get a FREE roll of Lifesavers with every order.

😀

Hows their return policy?

I had a bad experience with TCWO ... bought a Soyo KT333 mobo and 128MB of DDR-RAM which were DOA. Maybe it wasn't their fault, but I couldn't send it back since I'm overseas.

Well i live about an hour away, so i can always bring it back in person i guess.

TCWO has great tech support and will take returns.

Be aware of the fact that their techs KNOW what they are talking about. If you are a complete moron and fry your CPU by not installing a HSF, they will know and you are screwed.

I had a memory problem, but while I was diagnosing it, they took back a Mobo, tested it and sent it back to me at no charge. They get my love...

With newegg, you can get another processor even if you're a moron for frying your cpu, it worked for me 😉

Just noticed they have a 15% restocking fee, that kinda blows.

Did you include in-state tax? Since you wont be taxed by Newegg...

Otherwise, go with TCWO (cheaper + faster).

Yea, the price i was comparing was with tax from TCWO and the higher shipping from newegg.

I also have a bad experianced with TCWO, I will still go with Newegg, I am willing to pay few dollars more to give me peace of mind. TCWO is too slow to ship & newegg is always ship on time. Newegg show you every step of the processed, I felt very comfortable with newegg service. I did try to order from newegg & with XXX??? e-tailer as well, but I got newegg packages 3 days early than XXX??? e-tailers.

you're still supposed to pay the sales tax even if the vendor didn't collect it, elsewise you're guilty of tax evasion.

and if you think ground will actually get there overnight... don't you know that everything goes through memphis?!?

? so does newegg.

aphex, check out the tax situation. since they are in tampa, i am pretty sure we would have to pay tax. I have never ordered from them because of that and always leaned toward newegg which is tax free and everything comes in 3 days.
