Man, I always seem to miss out on this stuff... I even managed to miss EVGA's B-Stock 760 that was $199.99, while my SO managed to snag it just a few tens of minutes before :(

has Newegg changed warranty /restock policy on open box in the last few years? Only wondering as i was 0 for 3 on open box from them and they charge 15% restock or you can sit and wait till another Open box (has to be EXACT same item becomes available, cant be a different version of same item). All 3 where video cards with issues, so was just wondering. I don't mind if i have to ship it back, but a 15% restock or wait weeks to months.. not very fair (imho) but this was over 3 + years ago. Not a thread crap, just info, i would hope its changed now.

I got a 270 today for $140

Don't need it, but the price was way too good to pass up!

Their current open box policy is refund only. If the card is defective within 30 days, they have to issue you a refund for open box products. If the card is defective, they are not allowed to charge a restocking fee.

Also You can chat with them and they cover the return label as well. But you gotta push them for it. NOw things are easier, if you have Premier membership. Newegg was best for me before, but now I moved to NJ and payinh 7% tax making it not excellent deal. Back in NY, there were no tax
