SanDisk Extreme Pro SDSSDXPS-480G-G25 2.5" 480GB SATA 6.0Gb/s Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)

$209.99 - $25 off w/ promo code NAFVC25 w/ Visa Checkout = $184.99, free shipping option available.

This is probably in the top 3 of the best SSD drives out now. Samsung 850 Pro, a direct competitor, goes for $320. The SanDisk comes with a 10-year-warranty. Perfect for a new build or an OS SSD upgrade.

June 2014 this drive was $370.

Thanks RS, I grabbed one after your recommendation in my GPU thread. Upgrading OS drive from an Intel 320. Great deal!

Try not to browse the Hot Deals forums too much or you'll spend even when you don't need to. :D:D:D

The visa checkout only works per 1 visa member though so you'll need a GF/Wife or a brother sister to get the $25 off again.

Tell me about it. But I'm still on fence about switching to AMD. I'm also interested in trying out the Asus STRIX 0db feature. If I like it I'll wait for a deal and buy another. It's bonus season so I can splurge a tiny bit. But that's an awesome deal too!

Can't wait for the sandisk to arrive though, the bump from an Intel 320 should be noticeable. Besides the 840 EVO 1tb for 334 (with the visa discount), this is the best ssd deal I've seen this BF.

In CF, with ZeroCore enabled it turns off the fans on the 2nd card and it goes automatically to idle using just 2-3W of power. I hope that larger SSD will allow you to install more programs/apps/some key games you are playing for faster response time.

I would have ordered one myself but since I am not in the US right now, it was impossible to use the Visa Checkout.
