Newegg & online retailers in general and invoice dates

I am interested in getting a motherboard with a rebate that expires this Sunday, 11/30. I was wondering if I purchase from Newegg if the day you place the order is printed on the invoice, or is the date that they process the order printed?
How about other online retailers in general? Is there a common practice?
 
It depends on retailer...I have had both happen. You may be able to call it in in that case and see if they can guarantee you a proper reciept.
