Oh, my bad. My first post over here. Saw the deal and just thought I'd throw a bone out for y'all. Should have known someone would have already gotten this one out there ;)

It very well may, but it's still a pretty solid deal, IMO, at $94.99, no?

29.6c/gb. Not too bad. I think the thing is the 320's seem to be in large supply at the moment so they are popping up for near this price often.

I can't wait for 500gb's at 100$ :)

Although $5 more, its still a very great deal.

By the time that happens you'll be waiting for 750GB's for $90. There's always a bigger drive for less money just around the corner.

Instead of higher storage, i wish they would make drives more reliable or even faster. I'd really have a hard time filling 500 gigs up with anime or even quality porno worth watching really. Even when it comes to music, i delete ones that dont sound good as i dont "collect" like some people do.

500GB of anime is quite a bit. I'm sitting at ~250 or a little more right now, and that's after having deleted some a few years back when i was needing more space (but now i'm wishing i still had 'em).

I think i'm gonna wait till next year to replace my hdds with some matured perpendicular recording drives.

this is what a watch:

naruto 195
bleach 91
avatar book 2 ep 11
blood+ 11
karin 5
hikaru no go (complete)
Tsubasa Chronicles 8
kiba 19

What other good anime is there? I already watched samuri champloo, hajime no Ippo and kenshin among a few other good ones. I usualy watch it when im working out and im starting to run out. I watch all of them on youTube and dont torrent as thats a hassle for me. Im also running on a 74 giger raptor so i dont bother collecting them just waiting for the day that someone will need them or that ill rewatch them as newer and better ones come out.

I'd love to have this, but the deal isn't so great for me b/c I'd need an SATA card or a converter doodad. :( DOH

For my HTPC, one 500gb drive would be great. It would alow easier hard drive storage of DVDs, all my CDs, etc. It's more of a convenience thing then a 'must have' thing.

Hence the waiting. ;)
