Newegg No Help With Mr. Flash Compactflash Card!

Muadib

Lifer
I bought a 256MB card from them over a year ago which had a lifetime warrenty. However, when I called them today to RMA it, they wouldn't saying that their warrenty was only a year, and that the lifetime one is with the manufacturer. I'm cool with that, however, I can find no info on the Mr. Flash company and when I called Newegg, the rep just brushed me off. I figured I'd give this a try before rasing hell with them. Thanks!

The product warranty is by the manufactorer, not the vendor.
Some exceptions are repaired stuff and maybe OEM stuff.

Why should Newegg warranty a product that they didn't make ???
If your manufactorer is out of business, then you are screwed.

Otherwise. good luck

Yeah, but Newegg should know how to contact Mr. Flash . If they went under, then Newegg should know that and state so, and not try to bs me.

true, but that's something I'd ask by e-mail since the phone reps might not have the info on the computer where they can get to it.

Current products, just go to newegg and follow the "product link"

Products they no longer carry, send an email so they can forward it to their Finder of Lost Brands. (Or try using The Power of Google.)

Yeah, fraid I'm going to have to side with Newegg here. The terms of the warranty on the product are of no concern of theirs.

Just like Wal*Mart wouldn't give a rip about the lifetime warranty offered on some MadCatz controllers.

typical pratice.
all computer vendors just buy and sell.
like newegg, they find a low price product and sell you at low price, and even offer 1 yr warranty on their own, you shouldn't blame them.
