Newegg messed up?

i ordered the logitech z640 speakers and a sound blaster 5.1 sound card last wednesday.... so today (monday) they were expected to come... but only the speakers came... i called newegg and they said the sound card should come tomorrow... why werent they shipped together or at the same time? the order was for both items.
 
Perhaps the speakers are a bit larger than a regular soundcard; therefore they shipped each one in its own box and just so happen that one takes a day longer than the other? Or maybe they shipped one out in their Monday shipment and the next in their Tuesday shipment?
 
It's not a mess up .. I wouldn't worry about orders from Newegg. Even if they do I guess they'll make very appropriate compensations.

i think newegg has been given such a high reputation that when someone's order doesn't go perfectly, they assume the worst has happened.

BTW, i got my email saying my newegg order that i placed on sunday night has shipped and they gave me the tracking # , so far so good, but don't worry, if they screw up (or if it is close to a weekend, i'll post a thread about saturday delivery) i will start a thread aboot it

they didn't ship the same box because they didn't want you to complain about them hooking up the 5.1s to the soundcard.

btw .. quite whining.

omg, two things could come in two boxes shipped from two different warehouses? yuo suq at intarweb shopping!
 
Newegg does not let you order something they don't have in stock as far as I know.

However, I do know that items drop ship from:
a; different warehouses
b; some vendors directly

Either of the two can add a day or two to your shipping and receiving. No big deal!
