I wanted to grab one of newegg's cheap $21 cases today, and found out they're about to charge me $47 for shipping to Hawaii. What I don't understand is why these people can't ship Ground. I just recently moved back here from Seattle, and I shipped all of my stuff home to Hawaii FedEx Ground. Why the hell can't online businesses do the same? And also, anyone in Hawaii want to sell me a case? :p

edit: See my post below, this is proof that FedEx ground from the continental 48 states to Hawaii exists. Bite me, and go nef in the what are you listening to RIGHT NOW thread.

UPS needs to invest in a ship fleet to keep you people in Hawaii happy with your cheap ground shipping.

I didn't say it was plausible, but I just said that I, as an individual as able to select the cheaper Ground option from the west coast to Hawaii. Regardless of its plausibility, FedEx DOES offer it as an option. Now why won't businesses do the same?

You pay a premium for having things shipped to you thousands of miles away on an island. Suck it up. Stop crying.

I guess you have nothing better to do than to go back to the 13th and look for posts to cry about.

Yeah, if you lived on the islands you wouldn't complain, right?

I'm starting to get fed up with newegg all together. They tried to charge me 12 bucks to ship my two whole heavy sticks of ram via express saver. Keep in mind that I'm in Oregon also. A whole freaking state away.... Found it at outpost.com for 9 bucks cheaper a stick and they only charged me 4 bucks or so for shipping. I don't really order anything from newegg anymore. You can find it cheaper through a vendor that's still reputable nine times out of ten from what I've seen lately.

Newegg's prices aren't the best anymore and their shipping can suck, but I still look at them first because their RMA process is great. When my GF2 blew a cap 11 months after I bought it, they took it back and gave me a refund with no hassle at all.
