Just got mine in the mail today. My first impressions:
The so-called "dented box" from the outlet seem to be the write-offs that didn't pass QA for whatever reason. In my case, the logo is slightly lopsided, but I'm not OCD enough to care.
As far as the actual keyboard functions, it's quite nice. The keys are reasonably quiet (they're not mechanical, which I knew about already), the backlight has two brightness levels and can be turned off. Has a "game mode" to turn off the Windows key, function (Fn) shortcuts for media control and potentially 18 programmable keys.
I HAVE ROOM AGAIN! My old Microsoft/Razer Reclusa keyboard was pretty bulky, such that I had to move it off the tray slightly to move my mouse around even with a high sensitivity. The software was virtually useless with the Reclusa especially for macros. The gaming software driver is good to get all the functionality of the gaming keys, and having not even glanced at the instructions, the interface is pretty intuitive.
Downsides? No wrist rest, I know that matters to some. Media function shortcuts aren't backlit. The key plastic is kinda thin, use a little more caution if you have to pop out the keys. The function key is also on the right-hand side, I'm used to the standard laptop approach with it being on the left. But other than that, not a bad purchase for the price.
