Newegg knows better than UPS???

Tracking package through both gives different results.

According to UPS....

My package just left NJ and is delayed and will be delivered tomorrow.

According to Newegg....

My package just left CT and is not delayed at all. It is out for delivery according to them.


We'll see who wins.

Well...they are almost in synch......

They both now says they ahve arrived in CHelmsford, MA....

Newegg says it has arrived at Chelmsford and that there was a location scan....

UPS says it just arrived at Chelmsford and nothing has happened.

Newegg no longer says it stopped in CT (It said it was scanned in CT earlier).

Newegg still has delivery for today.

UPS says delivery is estimated for tomorrow.

I think UPS will win thsi battle.....

That's okay, at 11AM today UPS said my retarded driver couldn't deliver my HDD because nobody was home @ a local time of '2:14PM'.

Why wouldn't UPS win? It's their tracking system, their people moving the package and their prerogative on what day to deliver the package.

no, I just thought it was odd that neweggs tracking had different info than UPS. It's like newegg had planned tracking, not real tracking.

Or, for some reason, newegg had direct access to the real-time data, while the UPS site was showing you slightly out-of-date (cached) data. If you've ever worked on a database / data-driven website (especially of this scale), you'd be familiar with this.

well...I guess it is pretty obvious that I do not work with that. I guess that is what makes you special.

BTW, they both lost. It says delivered, but the person who lives below me says there is no package.
