I was looking at something that I hadn't even noticed it had a rebate, then I noticed it did in fact have a nice size rebate which makes it a good deal I think...however, on the rebate form it says:

"Did you include the original sales receipt or a copy of the original sales receipt?
Order confirmation emails and/or packing slips will not be accepted as proof of
purchase."

So...when I ordered from Newegg before I did not recall getting anything other than a printable order confirmation and an emailed copy of it, and then there was the thing that came with the item itself which I presume to be the packing slip. So, what do you give them? Is this a catch 22 you can't win?

I have not bought the item, I just figured I should ask first.

while your email order confirmation from newegg won't qualify as appropriate documentation for the rebate, you should have no problem logging into your newegg account printing the invoice/receipt after you place your order...it might take some time for the order to get processed, but you should be able to print an invoice or receipt accessible from your account no more than a business day or two after ordering.

Newegg makes invoices available typically just after they ship the order from their warehouses. If you don't get it via email you should definitely be able to print it from your account.
