Clearly I am an idiot, and sent in some wrong form.....My furious nerd rage blinded me when i got rejected from the rebate....I'll settle this elsewhere.
So, my modem dies. I borrow one from a friend for a few days while I search around for a new one online. I notice that newegg has a deal on a D-Link DCM-202. A $20 rebate off of $50 is pretty nice!
I do some research and about 4 days later i decide to purchase it. I save the rebate to my desktop. Order was placed on 10/29/2007 (the pdf to download the rebate has been hosted on a newegg link for days now)
The product comes, and within the week I postmark the cut out and such to send off.
....here comes the good stuff.
Today i get a postcard from D-Link saying my rebate was rejected because the purchase was made outside the qualifying period. I say what the *bleep* and run to check my purchase date on the email, and double check the PDF.
GUESS WHAT??
the pdf rebate form says the date to quality is 11/1/2007--->12/31/2007
...i placed my order on the 29th and assumed the pdf was good....
what can I do now...newegg basically led me to belive that if i orded it from them I would get the rebate...
