Newegg is soooo slow

I ordered a Gainward Ti200 on the 3rd, and it still has not shipped. what is up with that? anybody else notice how slow newegg is to get an order out the door?

They always ship my orders out like 2 days after my order, or sometimes the next day. Maybe because they're short in supply with the card.

SLOW??!!??!!??

Monday afternoon at around 16:30 hrs EST I ordered a K7V133, refurbished for 65$ since it was so cheap to begin with I sprang for standard overnight. At 14:55 hrs EST Tuesday it arrived :Q, my only setback was the bios came preflashed to 1007 and Asus's site is undergoing a revamp so being a bare OEM purchase getting the Raid drivers were a biotch. Kudos out to Newegg and Brasiliantech for having every onboard-raid driver under the sun, I'm bookmarking that site instead of Promise's. 😉

Oh.... and I didnt mention in anyway other than my timestamp location but the're in La Puente, CA., I'm a little North of Boston, Ma.

Check your order status and see which of th 5 steps it is in. I ordered the same as you, gainward ti200, on the 4th and today on the 5th it is waiting step five which is shipping. It should go out tommorrow the 6th. So it seems there might be a problem if it has not been shipped yet, though they were out of the ti200's on sunday which might have affected your order.

I ordered a Gainward Ti200 and it shipped within hours:

Order date: 12/4/2001 8:46:59 PM
Ship Date: 12/5/2001

You might want to call customer service or check on the web.

Newegg has always been good to be. Very fast shipping and great customer service! You might want to give them a call and see what the hold up is. Was the item on backorder when you made your order or on back order now?

Maybe you ordered w/ a check or debit card, and they are having trouble verifying the address...or you are shipping to an address not listed on your CC...just a thought...

thanks for the replies. It finally shipped tonight at around 9 (6pm for califormia where newegg is at). it was at stage 4 or 5 for the WHOLE DAY. so in all it was 2 FULL days to get the ball rolling. payment was not the delay. I payed with a credit card and the payment stages verified very quicky. Since i am in New Jersey i have to wait up to 5 days for it to ship, so the 2 days for them to actually get the package moving really adds to the wait...

I see that most of you have had a different experience and they were more quick to deliver for most of you. good to know. guess it was just an isolated case. but i have ordered from them before, and i recall a similar wait time in the past.

The time frame you are experiencing is well within Newegg's stated policies. The clearly state it will take 1-2 days to process an order. You ordered on the 3rd, they shipped on the 5th. That's 2 days. Usually they are faster but sometimes they are extremely busy. I order from them at least once a week and very rarely they ship same day, most often the next day, and sometimes (maybe 25% of the time) the second day.

BTW, Standard FedEx Express Saver shipping should take 3 days or less to anywhere in the US, not 5 days. Maybe your FedEx driver is lazy 😉

NewEgg is fast on shipping if you order single items. Once you start bundling stuff up, the process gets dragged out as they have to pull multiple items and toss em into one box. I'm starting to get frustrated with NewEgg's shipping prices though, they definitely make money off of their shipping rates. You can order the tiniest little piece of nothing, and they'll charge you $5 bucks. Thats fine, probably close to what FedEx charges. But if you order another tiny little piece of nothing, they'll charge you $10 bucks when they both can easily fit in the same packaging. Startin to piss me off. Moral of this rant is: Don't bother to stack items at NewEgg to save on shipping, b/c you really won't save that much until you get the cost up to like $15. Just get that one item they have for cheap and look for the rest where it is cheaper.
